Women from Cameroon, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and Ivory Coast play professionally in football clubs in Spain, Norway, Russia, Cyprus, Lithuania and South Korea. We want to make a film to celebrate their talents and achievements despite multiple obstacles. Now these players have come full circle to revisit their humble beginnings and are inspiring a whole new generation of young African girls to take up the beautiful game.

My name is Florence Ayisi, a Pan-African documentary filmmaker and co-director of multiple award-winning and Academy Award shortlisted documentary feature, Sisters in Law. I'm creating Talent of Africa with one of the world's leading management agencies for women's football - LTA Agency.

In a world dominated by men, we want to showcase the essence of these bold, determined, inspirational, resilient, and dynamic female players. Talent of Africa will be their untold story - a pan-African celebration of women.

Help Us Make The Film A Reality

In this short 2:30 minutes film the director, Florence Ayisi, explains our vision for the documentary and you get a brief introduction to some of the players that will be featured in the final film. Help us make this tribute to the beautiful game of football and in particular the amazing African women that are conquering it. You can donate money through our crowdfunding campaigns or become a corporate sponsor:

The documentary film follows the careers and personal lifes of these fantastic football players and brings a
unique insight into the struggles and rewards they face when they play for their club teams and their national
teams and not least when they give back to their local communities.
